Stevia-sweetened diet soda
For those of you familiar with my blog and writing, I don't recommend the use of artificial sweeteners (more info here). Well, for those of you who really want a diet soda, Virgils has just come out with a stevia-sweetened diet cola. It has 6 calories and no artifical sweeteners. I tried it and it tastes pretty much like the diet soda I remember from my soda drinking days.

Hi Cathe
I wanted tell you and your readers that there is already a delicious diet soda made with stevia out there - Zevia. The web site is http://www.zevia.com. Zevia is an all natural LINE of sodas: Cola, Twist (lemon-lime), Orange, and Ginger Root Beer – all made with stevia and without any artificial ingredients. (Orange is my favorite – it reminds me of the orange soda I drank as a kid.) Zevia is made by a local company here in Seattle. It has been around less than a year. I get it at my local QFC Supermarket but it is in stores all over the country. The Zevia web site has a zip code store locator at http://www.zevia.com/locator and an online store at https://store.zevia.com . Zevia is the answer for quitting nasty artificial sweeteners. I love it!
Thanks for the info. I'll check it out.
